$33.00/hour (plus $0.50/hour for bilingual Spanish) Hours:

Open until filled NeighborImpact Weatherization Program Overview The NeighborImpact Weatherization Program delivers energy-saving repairs, improvements, and items to clients in Crook, Deschutes, Hood River, Jefferson, Sherman and Wasco Counties as well as the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Typically, the program serves 100 low-income households each year. Additionally, the program offers Energy Education workshops that are open to the entire community. Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Weatherization Auditor is responsible for conducting home energy audits, final inspections, and contractor relations within the program service area. The role involves extensive fieldwork, technical training, client education, and documentation, ensuring that projects meet program standards and technical specifications. This position requires strong knowledge in residential construction, weatherization processes, and proficiency in audit tools like REM/Design. Regular travel, both within and outside the service area, is necessary. This role also demands excellent communication and organization skills and the ability to manage workload efficiently. Requirements
Required Bachelor's degree in a related field required
o OR in lieu of a degree, four years of relevant experience required Current certification in Quality Control Inspection (QCI) required
Detailed knowledge of home weatherization process and residential construction standards required
Experience with residential construction codes, construction cost estimating and construction project management required
Position requires regular travel in agency vehicle within service area
Out of area travel will be required for training/educational purposes
Required prior to date of hire and throughout employment:
Valid driver's license
Proof of current auto insurance
Access to reliable transportation
Satisfactory criminal background check
Satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
Preferred Spanish/English bilingual is preferred
Lead Paint Inspector/Risk Assessor certification preferred
Demonstrated REM/Design computerized audit tool skills highly preferred
Familiarity with Federal and State weatherization regulations preferred Job Classification:
