Route Auditor

Valley Waste Service, Inc. is seeking a full time Route Auditor for our waste hauling and disposal company.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confirm the accuracy of route sheets.
• Verify container sizes, numbers, weights, contents, and days of service.
• Sequence routes working with the truck's tablet.
• Maintain a courteous and cordial manner with all employees, management, vendors, and customers encountered on the route.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High degree of proficiency in tablet technology.
• Strong interpersonal, oral communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Must pass a medical exam and drug screen.
• Working knowledge of the waste industry is a plus but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• To perform this position, you will be required to stand, walk, sit, and bend frequently.
• You will also be required to drive a vehicle.
• The ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to move about, is required.
• While heavy lifting is not required, the ability to occasionally exert 10-20 lbs. of force is required.
• Good manual dexterity is required to use common technology.
• This job is performed in and out of the truck or the associate's personal vehicle.

You are subject to weather elements daily; i.e. heat, sun, rain, snow, wind, etc.

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour
