Senior Auditor

Job DescriptionJob Description Audit Senior Hybrid near Bridgeville, PA This role supports a growing audit practice serving clients within the postsecondary education sector and other closely related organizations. Prior experience with schools or in the education sector is not required. Responsibilities Provide technical oversight of audit engagements, tailoring and finalizing audit programs based on risk assessments Oversee preparation of financial statements, including drafting and reviewing footnote disclosures Review audit testing across all engagement areas completed by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance Communicate directly with clients to address accounting and auditing questions and provide practical solutions Coordinate with the tax team regarding potential impacts of audit adjustments on tax filings and projections Monitor engagement progress, budgets, and timelines while communicating updates to senior leadership Qualifications CPA license or in progress 3+ years of public accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements What This Role Offers Opportunity to lead engagements and mentor developing professionals Gain exposure to clients within the postsecondary education and related sectors A collaborative culture focused on continuous learning and knowledge sharing Flexibility that supports work-life balance A clear path for continued advancement within a growing firm Spartan Placements is an equal opportunity employer.
