Assurance Senior Associate DUTIES:
Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules. Develop a thorough understanding of all audit, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals. Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, provide regular performance coaching and feedback, while developing individual technical and industry skills. Provide effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership. Assist in areas of Audits, Reviews, Compilations, and Accounting Services. Work on a variety of client deliverables and preparing work papers and will resolve audit issues obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients. Understand the client's accounting systems and applied concepts of materiality and audit risk. Prepare work papers that are informative, well documented, cross-referenced and can easily be understood and explained. Provide services to consumer, hospitality, and manufacturing clients. Work on a team with other Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. Hybrid role with telework permitted within a reasonable commuting distance of the Los Angeles, CA office.SALARY:
$93,000.00 to $136,000.00 per yearLOCATION

Main Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Accountancy or closely related field of study and no experience required.Alternate Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or closely related field of study and Three (3) years of experience as an Assurance Associate, Audit Associate or related role where required experience gained.SPECIAL SKILLS
Also requires internship, coursework, and/or professional experience in the following skills:- Public Accounting experience.
- Commercial Industry experience.
- Experience with Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).
- Knowledge of SQL, Access and Tableau.
- CPA eligibility.
