What's the role? We're seeking a high level Audit Senior to join a respected CPA firm based in Stockton, CA . The firm is open to onsite, hybrid, or fully remote candidates and is known for its flexible culture, low-hours expectations, and supportive environment. Audit Seniors are responsible for managing client relationships while overseeing audit and review engagements to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. You'll work closely with clients in a variety of industries, including: Non-profit organizations Affordable housing Employee benefit plans Homeowners' associations (audits and reviews) Your key responsibilities will include: Managing audit engagements from start to finish. Analyzing financial records to identify potential issues and present solutions. Training, mentoring, and reviewing work of audit staff. Building and maintaining strong client relationships. Providing recommendations to assist clients with financial reporting and compliance needs. What experience and skills will help you succeed? 4+ years of public accounting audit experience. Experience with non-profits, affordable housing, employee benefit plans, or HOA audits is highly valued. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred or in progress). Strong communication and relationship management skills.
