Job Description

A growing CPA and advisory platform is seeking an Audit Senior Manager to join our leadership team as we continue expanding our assurance practice throughout New England. This role is ideal for a technically strong CPA who enjoys building client relationships, leading teams, and helping drive the continued growth of an entrepreneurial accounting firm. The position will work closely with firm leadership on engagement oversight, staff development, client service, and long term practice growth. We are looking for someone who wants meaningful leadership responsibility and the opportunity to grow into a larger role over time. Responsibilities Lead and review audit, review, and compilation engagements across a variety of industries Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining client service standards and deadlines Serve as a primary relationship manager for key audit clients Oversee planning, execution, and completion of assurance engagements Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing matters Mentor and develop staff and seniors across the audit practice Assist with process improvement, workflow management, and operational initiatives as the firm grows Work closely with leadership on client transition and retention initiatives Support growth initiatives and help identify opportunities within the existing client base Qualifications Active CPA license required 8+ years of public accounting audit experience Experience leading audit engagements and managing teams Strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS Experience in a regional or boutique CPA firm environment strongly preferred Experience with nonprofit organizations, employee benefit plans, closely held businesses, or professional service clients is a plus Strong communication and client management skills Comfortable operating in a hands on and entrepreneurial environment Location & Travel Boston area preferred. We are also open to candidates located outside the area who are willing to travel periodically during the transition period. Pay:
$150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
