Audit Senior/Supervisor -
Western Massachusetts Location:
Hampden County, MA (hybrid) I'm partnering with a well-established, full-service public accounting firm in Western Massachusetts that is experiencing steady growth due to recent retirements and continued client expansion. This is a strong opportunity to join a stable, people-focused organization known for technical excellence, long-term client relationships, and a highly collaborative culture. What You'll Do Assist in audit planning, fieldwork, and completion of engagements Prepare audit workpapers and financial statements in accordance with GAAP Review work performed by staff and provide constructive feedback Train and mentor team members while addressing technical questions Ensure compliance with firm quality control standards Build and maintain strong client relationships Support select advisory and transaction-related projects as needed Ideal Candidate 5+ years of public accounting audit experience Active CPA required Experience with audits, reviews, and compilations for both for-profit and nonprofit clients Strong exposure to nonprofit organizations preferred Single Audit / Uniform Guidance experience strongly preferred (HUD experience a plus) Strong ability to research and apply accounting standards Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
