Job Description
Conduct investigations to ensure compliance with the Arizona Tribal-State Gaming Compact, Event Wagering and Fantasy Sports rules, State and Federal laws. This may include, but is not limited to, conducting forensic audits and financial investigations, examining individual and/or company financial records, writing or assisting with comprehensive reports, conducting interviews, and testifying at hearings and in court. Assist the Racing Division and Boxing & MMA in conducting financial reviews of licensees. This position may be available for remote work within Arizona (1-2 days per week in the office/hoteling). OR This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures. Please note, enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment. Selective Preference(s) Professional certifications such as CPA, CFE, CIA, EA or CMA, and at least one year of audit/accounting experience are preferred. Financial investigators should have an extensive accounting or financial investigative background.
