This position offers a hybridized work schedule. The position will be headquartered at and required to work from the Hill Farms State Office Building in Madison, WI at least 2 days per week. All employees working a hybrid work schedule are generally expected to telework from within the State of Wisconsin. This topic will be discussed more at the time of the interview. Position Summary This position acts as the lead worker for the Compliance, Audit, and Fraud Unit and directs staff in completing work assignments and motoring workflow schedules and assignments that support the division. This position is responsible for overseeing, developing, and coordinating processes that provide support to the three bureaus within the Division of Motor Vehicles. The position is also responsible for evaluating and suggesting improvement efforts within the unit to improve quality and fraud detection and prevention. This position is also the program expert on internal control procedures. This position will review, improve, and develop transaction review processes and financial reporting compliance procedures that comply with state and federal laws, department and division policies, and other best practices. This position will also implement and oversee compliance audits at DMV Service Centers statewide. Salary Information This position is in schedule-range (07-03) with an annual salary of $67,600

A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan. Experience managing work processes. Experience interpreting, analyzing, and applying complex information such as laws, rules, or policies and arriving at conclusions or recommendations. In addition to having all the above, well-qualified applicants will have one or more of the following: Experience with investigation of fraud and/or violations of policy, statute, or administrative code. Experience managing data and summarizing it into reports for management. Experience collaborating with a diverse group of business partners including external and internal parties.
