Prime's EDI/Detention associate will primarily assist the sales department by providing administrative support by performing the following duties: Transmit EDI data to customers Audit and fix errors in transmissions Review of customer reports for accuracy Audit information in system Submit detention requests to customers as required by their contracts Work with sales, and operations to resolve issues in obtaining detention approvals Practice Company Core Values Performes related work as required. This is a remote position, on a 4-on-4-off rotation, 2pm-2am. Training is available and would consist of 6-8 weeks in office.Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities. Knowledge Basic knowledge of trucking/transportation industry preferred, but not required. Prior customer service experience preferred. Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to execute logical decisions quickly. Ability to multitask in dynamic, fast-paced, team oriented environment. Good computer and keyboarding skills with the ability to accurately type at 40 WPM. Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and the general Internet. Require flexible schedule with the ability to work rotating weekends as necessary. Experience, Education, and Training Four year college degree in a business related field or at least one year in a customer service environment preferred, but not required. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit for a large portion of the day. Also needs to be able to multitask, talk on the telephone for extended periods of time and type efficiently. Working Environment Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment. Surroundings can be noisy at times. Licensing/Certification None required.Similar remote jobs
