The Energy Workforce Excellorator Program is a no-cost training initiative designed to prepare individuals for careers in the growing energy efficiency and weatherization industry. This structured program provides industry-recognized training and certifications for individuals seeking to enter the field, regardless of prior experience. This is a training opportunity and not direct employment. Participants who successfully complete the program will be equipped with the credentials and knowledge needed to pursue careers in energy efficiency and related trades.

Program Schedule and Curriculum:
Weatherization 101 Live, Online June 29, 2026 BPI Building Science Principles (BSP) Live, Online July 1-2, 2026 BPI Building Analyst Technician + Professional (BA-T / BA-P) Live, In-Person August 3-6, 2026 Introduction to HVAC / Heat Pumps Live, In-Person August 7, 2026 NATE Certification Training On-Demand To be completed by August 30, 2026
Digital Badges and Supplemental Learning On-Demand Ongoing Career Path Outcomes:
Upon completion, participants may qualify for entry-level roles such as Energy Auditor, Weatherization Technician, HVAC or Heat Pump Installer, or Home Performance Contractor. Typical industry wages range from approximately $18 to $35 per hour depending on certifications, experience, and geographic location. Employment is not guaranteed.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older Ability to attend all required training dates (both online and in-person) Willingness to complete all coursework, including on-demand modules Interest in technical, construction, or energy-related fields Reliable internet access for virtual sessions
