$5,798 annually) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join a well-established organization. This role reports to the Manager of Internal Audit and works closely with internal and external stakeholders. The position focuses on auditing benefit-related funds, analyzing financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role includes both office-based work and field audits across the Tri-State area. Duties Conduct audits on various benefit funds Examine books, ledgers, and financial records maintained by contractors Analyze data and develop audit findings and reports Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation Work directly with contractors throughout the audit process Participate in hearings and provide testimony related to audit findings as needed Perform both in-office and field audit work across multiple locations Work Environment This position operates in both a professional office setting and contractor field environments.
