The successful candidate must have a friendly disposition and enjoys being in a team atmosphere. The Internal Auditor/Documentation Staff Member must have a solid work ethic, be highly organized, and must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Reports to :VP of Reimbursement/Reimbursement Supervisor Job Location :
Hybrid out of New Providence, New Jersey, open to remoteRequirements:
Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent is required Healthcare service experience is a major advantage.Must have good communication skills:
Telephone, email, and interoffice communications. Must have good PC skills, especially with the Microsoft Office suite of products: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of CPR + is preferred. Job Responsibilities Use CPR Document management system Includes All Locations Follow up with Documentation Team for documents that require signatures. Print documents for audit requests and/or payor requests Follow up on documents not returned. Timeframe 1 week follow up with Documentation Team/Enteral Team Follow up with sales reps. Follow up with clinical team as required. Submit Audit documents to manager for review Once documents are reviewed, can submit to Auditing body and/or payor Contact Payor for proper documents to send for request of Medical Records Internal Audit review to be done quarterly Physical Demands The physical requirements listed here indicate what an employee must meet to effectively perform this role's essential functions. The employee frequently needs to communicate verbally, listen attentively, and spend prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The role also requires lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or standing as needed.?
