Job Description
Senior Associate, Audit and Assurance, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Boston, MA . Apply auditing standards and firm audit methodology, reinforce compliance requirements, and evaluate and respond to the results of audit procedures. Provide clients with business advice on technical accounting and financial reporting standards, proactively identifying and articulating emerging technical issues. Assist a variety of clients to solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Provide clients value through digitization, automation and increased efficiencies. Use project management skills to maximize the effectiveness of the audit, managing and prioritizing issues based on materiality and risk. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary $112,000 - $129,000/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, Finance or a related field, plus 2 years of related work experience. Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following: Participating in all aspects of audit activities including audit planning, control evaluation, substantive audit testing, and work paper documentation for clients; Analyzing large and complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools; Applying applicable technical accounting and financial reporting standards supporting the resolution of technical issues through effective analysis of accounting standards and issues; and Working with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS), and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards. 50% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office. Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel required up to 60%. Multiple Positions available.
