Full-Time Job Summary The Senior Auditor position at
M&K CPAS
is the perfect opportunity for professionals seeking exposure to cutting-edge public audits without the demands of a large firm environment. The Senior Auditor ensures the successful completion of assigned audit engagements from start to finish, including planning and wrap-up. This role reports to a Partner and applies risk and control concepts to audit scenarios while effectively communicating issues to ensure timely resolution. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct assigned audit engagements successfully under Audit Management direction.
  • Identify and communicate audit issues, providing recommended, risk-relevant solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and reviewing deliverables.
  • Ensure audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of processes, risks, and circumstances.
  • Develop appropriate audit testing procedures aligned with risks and objectives.
  • Obtain, review, and document audit evidence to support findings and conclusions.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable professional standards at all times.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate assigned tasks to engagement teams for high-quality results.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients to minimize disruptions while gathering necessary information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, always demonstrating dedication to superior client service. Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Technology, or equivalent education/training/experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years audit experience in a public accounting firm (required).
  • CPA license or actively pursuing CPA exam completion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and teamwork abilities.
Preferred:
Knowledge of GAAS (3 years).

    Work Environment & Schedule Schedule:
    Monday to Friday, with additional compensation for time over 40 hours, Some Saturdays and late evenings are required during Busy Seasons.
