7 + Years of Public Accounting Audit Experience Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Audit Manager to oversee our audit operations, ensuring compliance and enhancing the effectiveness of our internal controls. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in leading audit engagements, providing strategic insights, and driving improvements across our auditing processes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage audit teams to execute comprehensive audit plans and engagements. Assess risks and develop strategies to address potential audit concerns across various sectors, including construction, manufacturing, and nonprofit organizations. Conduct thorough audits, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to management based on audit findings. Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of audit processes and outcomes. Mentor and develop junior audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required. Proven experience in audit management, particularly in sectors such as construction, manufacturing, nonprofit organizations, and employee benefit plans (EBP). Strong knowledge of auditing standards and practices, with the ability to adapt to various industries. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze complex data and provide strategic insights.
