Full-Time Job Description:
The Quality Auditor reports to the Quality Supervisor and performs inspection and testing duties to ensure that manufactured products fulfill all customer and internal specifications and quality requirements. Responsibilities also include communicating requirements, processes, and issues related to SixAxis
ISO 9001
certified Quality Management System to a wide variety of internal resources. This position is critical to achieving customer satisfaction as they may provide the final quality measure for our product prior to being received by our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with established processes, procedures, and customer specifications Conduct inspections and audits of incoming, in-process, and finished products Performs first article inspections to support the component qualification process Initiate Non-Conformance Reports and completion of NCR process utilizing databases and other quality tools, as required Input and perform trending analysis of key Quality process metrics Support the Quality Manager in quality deliverables specific to customer requirements Document, report, and present inspection audit findings and results and monitor corrective actions to inspection and audit findings Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspection of raw materials, components and sub-assemblies per Inspection Plans and Specification Requirements Read and interpret specifications and part prints Ensure calibration and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment Perform material kit audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of the kitting process Perform product identification and traceability activities as required Assist with the returned goods/warranty process as appropriate Communicate with Engineering to ensure drawings and schematics comply with final product specifications Author Controlled Documents for the purpose of process improvement Perform Internal ISO Audits of SixAxis defined processes Support the established Quality Management System, ISO 9001, and all associated processes Coach and Mentor Quality and Production associates regarding quality processes to correct and eliminate risks Other duties as business needs dictate
