Essential Duties of a
Construction Records Auditor I:
Advises contractors' bookkeepers on record-keeping procedures. Assists with Federal Highway Administration and departmental reviews of construction records and may act as liaison with this agency.

May serve as District DBE Coordinator.

Participates in meetings regarding contract administrationPerforms and reviews construction records audits and coordinates with area engineers on monthly and final estimates, change orders, supplemental agreements and work ordersPrepares related correspondence and reportsTrains less experienced recordkeepers and records auditorsVerifies contractors' compliance with federal requirements for EEO and the on-the-job training, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and Small Business Enterprise programsPerforms other job responsibilities as assignedAdditional Duties of a
Construction Records Auditor II:
Assists area engineers by providing direction and technical expertise in resolving contract administration problems.•Represents the district or Construction Division at meetings regarding contract administration.
