Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing valuable insights to enhance financial management practices. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to analyze complex financial data. Duties Conduct external audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls and compliance with regulations. Prepare detailed financial reports and documentation in accordance with GAAP and GAAS standards. Evaluate risk management processes and recommend improvements based on findings. Collaborate with corporate accounting teams to ensure accurate general ledger accounting. Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and provide actionable insights for improvement. Perform technical accounting tasks related to governmental accounting and public accounting standards. Utilize accounting software and financial software tools to streamline auditing processes. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with financial concepts and auditing best practices. Skills Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and regulatory reporting standards. Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis skills. Experience in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, public accounting, and tax experience is preferred. Solid understanding of risk management principles and internal audit processes. Excellent financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively. Familiarity with various accounting software applications used in auditing and financial management. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for identifying discrepancies in financial records. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining independence during audits.
