Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Non-Profit Audit Senior. This role is pivotal in leading and executing audit engagements for non-profit organizations, ensuring compliance and financial accuracy with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and complete audits, leading a team of 2-3 staff auditors. Conduct field audit engagements and perform complex accounting and auditing tasks. Review client accounting systems and internal controls, ensuring they meet professional standards. Produce clear, concise, and professional audit reports within budget and deadlines. Train and mentor junior staff and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Engage with client management to resolve issues and recommend business improvements. Prepare financial statements and disclosures with precision and attention to detail. Research and address financial and audit-related issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
Currently in an Audit Senior role within a CPA firm. Minimum of 4 years of recent audit experience, focusing on the non-profit sector and/or single audits. Previous public accounting experience is essential. Proven supervisory experience and strong leadership capabilities. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Tax software, Adobe, and Engagement Manager.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting required; an advanced degree is advantageous. CPA certification is preferred or active pursuit of the same. This role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000-$90,000, with a requirement to work in the office three days per week (Monday to Wednesday).
