Role Description The Senior Audit Associate executes and supports multiple audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio, including privately held companies and public entities. This role is responsible for performing detailed audit procedures, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements while contributing to overall engagement quality and timely delivery. Working closely with audit managers and client leadership, the Senior Audit Associate provides technical insights on accounting and reporting matters, identifies risks, and develops practical recommendations. The role also supports the development of junior team members through coaching, review of workpapers, and day-to-day guidance to help maintain high-performing audit teams. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Active
U.S. CPA
license preferred or progress. 4-7+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience. Strong technical understanding of U.S. GAAP and working knowledge of
U.S. GAAS.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk assessment processes, including SOX compliance concepts. Experience supporting audits of privately held and/or public entities; exposure to PCAOB standards and SEC reporting requirements preferred.
