Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
Essential Duties:
Advises contractors' bookkeepers on record-keeping procedures. Assists with Federal Highway Administration and departmental reviews of construction records and may act as liaison with this agency. Monitors material testing requirements, results and reports for compliance with specifications and standards. Participates in meetings regarding contract administration. Performs and reviews construction records audits and coordinates with area engineers on monthly and final estimates, change orders, supplemental agreements and work orders. Trains less experienced recordkeepers and records auditors. Verifies contractors' compliance with federal requirements for EEO and the on-the-job training, Disadvantaged Business Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education :
High School Grad or Equivalent in general high school studies.
Experience :
No experience required. Related college education or relevant technical training may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis . Substitutions for

Valid driver's license at tie of application. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
