Job Description
KP Staffing Granbury is now hiring a Quality auditor in Weatherford, Texas! Job Summary The quality auditor will inspect product quality within the plant and ensure inspections and quality assurance procedures are carried out according to established quality standards. This role supports product and process improvement through teamwork, communication, problem solving, and attention to detail. Pay $17-$18 per hour Shift Friday-Suncay 6am-7:30pm, During the 1st week you will need to work M-TH from 6am-4:30pm to mirror the current QA team of 3 and QA Supervisor. Duties Ensure guidelines, procedures, specifications, and reports in the Quality Manual are followed at the plant level Maintain and communicate quality standards to plant employees Train associates in defect identification and quality SOPs as needed Participate in weekly quality meetings and follow up on action items and improvements Maintain and provide access to quality reference materials including component standards, design folders, customer specifications, AQL sampling, and defect guides Monitor new item BOM specifications and revisions for missing or incorrect components and unclear instructions Communicate changes to employees and supervisors Maintain the new start-up approval process and support resolution of nonconformances to specifications Monitor component substitutions and ensure rework or repair instructions are implemented correctly Report component and fiber quality issues and maintain control of nonconforming materials Enter data for receiving, work-in-process, and finished goods inspections in required documents or systems Correct data entry errors to support accurate analysis Review inspection data and communicate needed changes to production teams Report chronic quality control issues for follow-up Support quality-related projects as assigned Comply with company and safety guidelines Promote a lean manufacturing culture Responsibilities Report to the QA supervisor on site Train associates as needed in defect identification and quality SOPs Communicate quality standards and changes to employees and supervisors Qualifications Some QA experience preferred or willingness to learn with full training provided Ability to complete paperwork in English Experience in quality assurance for production manufacturing is ideal Experience in a textile environment is preferred Ability to perform inspections in all areas of production Good vision and above average color perception Basic math skills Ability to use a tape measure accurately and follow detailed instructions Knowledge of sewing is a plus Ability to identify sewing defects and causes Thoroughness and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with plant management and employees Computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and Word High school diploma or equivalent Job Type Contract To Hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Granbury for an in-person interview.
