AUDIT - 250 DAY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS

JOB SUMMARY

This position reports to and supports the Chief Internal Auditor in the management of Internal Audit office, including serving as backup to the Chief Internal Auditor in meetings and other situations as needed. The role contributes to Internal Audit Committee meetings, annual risk-based audit planning, and the planning and execution of individual audits and engagements. The Internal Audit Office reports functionally to the School Board's Internal Audit Committee and administratively to the Chief Financial Officer. The office is responsible for planning and performing comprehensive and recurring audits in financial, operational, and instructional areas to provide assurance and advisory services that support the achievement of the School Division's objectives. Audit objectives may include evaluating the reliability and integrity of information; compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations; the safeguarding of assets; the economical use of resources; the efficiency and effectiveness of operations; the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes; and the achievement of established program and operational goals.

Job Description SALARY:

Grade 16

Salary Range:

$110,021 - $178,345 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package
