: Conduct or assist in performing Branch Audits and Monthly Branch Audit Certifications review as assigned to evaluate internal controls. Respond to audit questions from Bank staff and support efforts to comply with laws and regulations. Maintain a thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations to assist in maintaining and tracking regulatory compliance. Provide a WOW experience for our internal and external customers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Perform Branch Audits, either in person or remote as assigned to determine whether controls and processes established by the Bank are adequate and effectively maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Bank's policies and procedures. Perform review of monthly Branch Audit Certifications as assigned to determine whether controls and processes established by the Bank are adequate and effectively maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Bank's policies and procedures. Prepares written internal audit reports, including findings, analyses, and conclusions. From this report recommend corrective action and suggest improvements as needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation and presentations. The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. Respond to internal control and operational questions from Bank personnel. Maintain proficient knowledge of the rules and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, OFAC, Regulation E, Truth in Savings Act, Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), FACTA, Reg Z-Truth in Lending, Reg B-Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act "Embrace Gray Thinking" by using sound judgment while decision-making and problem-solving. Think outside the box. Represent the Bank with a high level of integrity and professionalism. Adheres to 1st Security Bank's policies and procedures. EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience of at least 10 years' experience within the financial industry. Basic knowledge of all applicable Regulations that pertain to this position is required. Each employee must complete all required training, including Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering training suitable to the position at the Bank. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and over the phone. Good personal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; excellent time-management, problem-prevention, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Must be bondable.COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee must be able and willing to interact frequently with the general public. Some travel will be required in order to perform assigned audits.Salary Range:
