Job Title:
Quality Auditor Job Description As a Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and measuring materials, products, and processes to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. You will conduct regular audits and checks on production lines to monitor compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will document inspection results, maintain records, and prepare reports for management. Responsibilities Identify defects or non-conformances in products and work with production teams to find root causes. Use measuring tools, testing equipment, and software to verify product accuracy and consistency. Follow established quality procedures and work with leaders to adjust as needed. Collaborate with supervisors and chemists to develop corrective actions and process improvements on the line. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customer requirements, and internal standards. Monitor trends in quality performance and suggest continuous improvement initiatives. Capability to work with production personnel to ensure quality and safety are maintained. Proficiency in documenting information throughout the shift. Strong communication skills to stand firm on quality issues while maintaining a collaborative approach. Work Environment The work environment is in a chemical manufacturing setting with paints and coatings. You will spend 90 to 100% of your day on the production floor and quality areas, with some time in the quality office for administrative functions. The position operates on a 2nd shift schedule from Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:30 am, with optional work on Fridays from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. This role offers the opportunity for overtime, career growth, and potential promotions within the company. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
