Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Repairs Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will evaluate repair needs, prepare detailed estimates, and coordinate with clients and technicians to ensure accurate and efficient restoration processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong automotive knowledge, excellent customer service skills, the ability to manage multiple estimates with precision, and know how to use Xactamate. Ideally they will have worked with TPA's in the past. Responsibilities Assess damage reports and inspect sites to determine scope of repairs needed for water, fire, or other damages. Prepare comprehensive repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software. Communicate clearly with clients regarding repair options, costs, and timelines. Collaborate with technicians and project managers to ensure estimates align with actual repair work. Upsell additional services or repairs that benefit the client while maintaining transparency. Maintain detailed records of estimates, approvals, and work progress. Assist in developing cost-effective solutions for complex restoration projects. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally. Requirements Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing procedures. Excellent customer service skills combined with effective sales abilities including upselling. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients, team members, and Insurance professionals.
