- PRIMARY PURPOSE
- :•To inspect, identify, and evaluate auto vehicles involved in a loss.
ESSENTIAL

- + Appraises and determines costs of repairs to damaged vehicle in the field; determines repair versus replace and parts utilization.

- _Catastrophe Deployment & Ongoing Field Expectations_
- Prior catastrophe (CAT) appraisal experience is a strong plus for this position. The role may require deployment in support of CAT operations, particularly during peak summer months. Deployments can involve extensive travel, extended work hours, and temporary relocation based on business needs. During non‑CAT periods, colleagues are expected to consistently
- manage daily appraisal volume within their assigned home territory
- , demonstrating strong time management, autonomy, and adherence to productivity and quality standards. Candidates located in or near

- are especially beneficial, as these markets support sustained daily claim volume and require the ability to effectively manage workloads when not deployed for CAT events.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education & Licensing
- High school diploma or GED required. Licenses as required by state guidelines.
- Experience
- Three (3) years of related experience to include at least one (1) year of appraisal experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Skills & Knowledge
- + Strong knowledge of automobiles + Ability to understand and utilize appraisal software + PC literate, including Microsoft Office products + Strong organizational skills + Excellent interpersonal skills + Excellent negotiating skills + Ability to work in a team environment + Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
