Traveling Hail Damage Appraiser Auto PDR (HIGH PERFORMANCE ONLY NOT ENTRY LEVEL)

Hail damage appraisal experience required, OUT OF STATE, Dallas/Fort Worth-based. You document damage and defend our estimates against insurance adjusters, you do NOT write estimates. The Role in Plain English You walk the car with dent lights, document every panel and trim piece damaged accurately, our offsite team writes the estimates, then you sit across from the adjuster and defend the writeup line by line. This is not an estimator job. If you want to write estimates, this isn't it. You're a Fit If You Have Hail damage appraisal experience (not collision, not general body shop) Negotiated against CAT Team adjusters and are comfortable getting aggressive Can scope a vehicle in 30 minutes with zero missed damage, eyesight 20/20 Comfortable defending an estimate you didn't write Compensation Mix of base, commission and bonuses Commission on approved repair revenue 1099, you handle taxes and benefits 60-70 hr weeks in peak season, light/paused off-season Dec 15-Mar 15 What You'll Do Scope every vehicle in 30 minutes max with dent lights Document every damaged panel, headlight, cowl, trim piece Read the estimate before the adjuster shows up, know every line Defend operations against adjuster pushback using OEM specs Escalate to backend team when needed Loop in clients when adjusters won't move Hit 75%+ approval margin on submitted estimates Don't Apply If Your hail experience is mostly from few PDR stragglers into collision centers You want to write your own estimates You get cordial with adjusters and forget which side you're on You need to be managed day-to-day You're looking for a 40-hour W-2 with bench time Performance Bar 30 min max scope time, zero missed damage 75%+ approval margin No adjuster leaves without approval, escalation, or client involvement Impeccable photo documentation every time Serious applicants only.
