This position is ideal for an individual with related experience, effective skills, is detail-oriented, and has effective communication skills. Responsibilities:
Specific responsibility for the processing multiple warranty claims and warranty parts returns Communicates and coordinates with manager affectively Follow a warranty process that is timely, thorough, and accurate Perform Service Writer duties when required
Primary Duties:
File warranty claims Ship heavy-duty truck parts to various vendors Process and file paperwork such as sales, parts, and service documentation per supervisor direction Fill in as service advisor as needed and directed Answer multi-line telephone as required Greet customers and handle their questions and concerns quickly, efficiently and professionally Accept payments for products and services provided and ensure transaction is documented accordingly Other office duties as assigned Understanding of basic accounting principles Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and results driven Ability to prioritize and handle numerous tasks simultaneously Computer skills with an emphasis on word processing and spreadsheet programs Opening and closing repair orders as required Ensuring proper company and warranty processes are followed Preparing and presenting accurate repair estimates as needed Obtaining repair authorizations as needed Keeping all parties updated on diagnostics and repair progress as needed (when filling in SA Role) Report to warranty manager as directed Qualifications Related experience preferred Understanding of basic accounting principles Organized and friendly personality Effective written and oral communication skills Computer skills with an emphasis on word processing and spreadsheet programs Time management skills Fantastic communication skills with your customers Ability to work in a dealership environment to include 8 - 10 hour day Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis Professional, well-groomed personal appearance Clean driving record / reliable transportation Understanding of technical / mechanical background in the mechanical repair field Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision insurance plans. 401K Plan with match to support your financial future.
