Job Description

Job Overview Do you want to help protect independent insurance agencies from risks like errors & omissions (E&O) and cyber threats? Join the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA) and turn your customer service skills into a rewarding career that makes a real difference. You don't need prior insurance experience to succeed
  • we'll provide all the training you need.
We'll also pay for your study materials and licensing exam so you can earn your property/casualty insurance license. Candidates with prior insurance experience and an active property/casualty license can start contributing immediately. These qualifications are eligible for a higher starting salary.
Salary Range:
$43,000.00
  • $60,000.

  • 60,000 (base salary $43,000
  • 55,000 plus potential for incentive bonuses; starting salary commensurate with experience) Annual cost-of-living and performance-based raises, with the possibility of additional mid-year performance increases 401(k) match Employer paid health, dental and life insurance Paid vacation and sick leave Paid holidays Additional paid time off during the summer Cafeteria plan Requirements A genuine passion for helping customers succeed Strong organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively A property/casualty insurance license (or be able to obtain one upon hire•we provide materials and cover exam costs) Responsibilities Provide high-quality customer service to members, clients and prospects Review new and renewal applications, requesting additional information as needed Manage accounts for assigned clients and prospects, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation Communicate consistently and professionally with clients in writing and by phone Cross-sell additional coverages to enhance client protection Meet policy-driven deadlines with strong time management and attention to detail About Us The Missouri Association of Insurance Agents is the largest and most effective trade association representing independent insurance agents in Missouri.
