Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Auto Damage Estimator & Shop Manager to join our growing team. This role combines collision estimating, insurance coordination, customer service, and shop operations management . The ideal candidate is someone who can write accurate estimates, close jobs, manage workflow, and deliver an exceptional customer experience from intake to delivery . Key Responsibilities Estimating & Insurance Handling Write accurate, insurance-compliant estimates using CCC ONE (or similar) Communicate with insurance adjusters for approvals, supplements, and negotiations Identify all visible and potential hidden damages Manage supplements to ensure full repair coverage Understand and apply NY Regulation 64 , total loss thresholds, and claim procedures Customer Experience & Sales Greet customers and guide them through the repair process Explain repairs, timelines, deductibles, and insurance procedures clearly Convert walk-ins and leads into repair jobs Provide consistent updates to customers throughout the repair process Handle objections and maintain high customer satisfaction Shop Management & Operations Manage daily shop workflow and production schedule Coordinate with technicians, painters, and parts vendors Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to quality standards Monitor cycle time, efficiency, and delivery deadlines Perform final quality control checks before vehicle delivery Parts & Vendor Coordination Order and track parts (OEM, aftermarket, LKQ) Handle returns, core credits, and price matching Build and maintain relationships with vendors and dealerships Administrative & Business Duties Track jobs, supplements, and repair status Maintain organized work files and documentation Assist in hitting monthly sales and revenue targets Support marketing efforts and referral relationships Qualifications Experience in collision estimating and/or body shop management (required) Strong knowledge of insurance claims (first-party & third-party) Familiarity with CCC ONE or estimating software Understanding of repair procedures and vehicle construction Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Traits (THIS is what makes someone successful here) Hungry, driven, and money-motivated Strong leadership mindset Problem solver who takes ownership Organized and detail-oriented Customer-first mentality Ability to handle pressure and high volume can speak spanish
