Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Inspector to join our automotive team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet quality standards and safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to diagnose issues effectively. The Inspector will work closely with technicians and management to maintain the highest level of service quality. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, focusing on critical components such as powertrain, automotive electrical systems, and auto body repair. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify and assess mechanical issues. Evaluate GM vehicles and other makes for compliance with dealership standards. Document findings and prepare detailed reports on vehicle conditions, repairs needed, and recommendations for further action. Collaborate with service technicians to provide insights on repairs and maintenance based on inspection results. Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to vehicle inspections. Requirements Proven experience in automotive repair or inspection, preferably in a dealership environment. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, powertrain systems, diesel engine repair, and automotive electrical systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively. Familiarity with schematics related to various vehicle models, particularly GM vehicles. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for identifying potential issues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to convey findings clearly to both technical staff and management.

Full-time Pay:
$35,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
