The Damage Assessor performs comprehensive damage assessments. The Damage Assessor is an independent contractor position. Multiple Locations in
Texas:
Beaumont, TX Houston, TX and North Houston Levelland, TX Palacois, TX Temple, TX Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site residential property inspections. Identify and document visible storm, water, wind, hail, or other property damage. Capture comprehensive photographs, measurements, and detailed inspection notes. Communicate professionally and courteously with homeowners. Ensure accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of all findings. Review property conditions and identify potential safety concerns or additional damages. Submit completed inspection reports within required turnaround times. Maintain compliance with program guidelines, client requirements, and industry standards. Qualifications Experience in property inspections, construction, restoration, insurance adjusting, or related fields preferred. Knowledge of residential building components, materials, and repair methods. Familiarity with storm-related and property damage assessments. Ability to identify damage caused by wind, hail, water, and other perils. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage inspection schedules within a 24-hour turnaround time. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
