• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of auto body repair processes and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and technicians. Responsibilities Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed. Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates for customers. Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and repair options. Collaborate with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are accounted for in estimates. Maintain records of estimates, invoices, and customer interactions. Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process, addressing any questions or concerns. Stay updated on industry trends, repair techniques, and new technologies in auto body repair. Skills Proficiency in auto body repair techniques and processes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of diesel engine repair and air brake systems is a plus. Experience in tire service and oil change procedures is beneficial. Familiarity with auto service management software for estimating repairs. Ability to perform service writing tasks accurately and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple estimates simultaneously. Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
