Madison, AL Position Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the branch, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory control, and timely deliveries. This position requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage administrative, warehouse, and customer-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily branch operations and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Utilize QuickBooks and other computer systems for invoicing, purchasing, inventory tracking, and reporting. Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of materials. Maintain inventory levels through cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory management practices. Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers in person, by phone, and via email. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Load, unload, and organize materials within the warehouse and yard. Perform customer deliveries as needed, ensuring timely and professional service. Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal team members to support branch goals. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
Experience in construction supply, industrial distribution, or a related field preferred. Proficiency with QuickBooks and general computer applications. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Forklift experience and certification preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move materials and work in a warehouse environment. This position requires a dependable, customer-focused individual who can successfully balance office responsibilities with hands-on warehouse and delivery duties.
Pay:
From $55,000.00 per year
