Job Description

The Branch Supply Planning Manager is responsible for supporting the Branch with the execution of Supply Chain fulfillment strategies, including aspects of supplier management, day to day buying and purchasing activities, spotting and exploiting emerging market trends and generally ensuring the highest possible service levels to our customers while leveraging our enterprise inventory efficiencies.
Essential Duties:
Manage Branch Supply Planning processes Manage relationships with Branch leaders, leading Supply Planning discussions Effectively communicate with branch management teams to achieve desired results and alignment Identify areas to reduce costs and drive efficiencies through optimization of sourcing, vendor management, opportunity buys, commodity purchases and freight optimizations Leverage analytical insights to improve customer fill rates and inventory efficiency Demonstrate an understanding for and competency to manage business important issues Understand the business operations and the industry competitive environment Engage the team with a sense of urgency to deliver world class service to our customers Demonstrate a sense of passion for the success of the team Take ownership while holding self and others accountable Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain or other related field 7+ years of Supply Chain experience Proven ability to analyze and translate data; experience with Power BI a plus Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in foodservice and food distribution industry best practices Industry certifications from APICS and / or CSCMP are Preferred Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Preferred Must have a strong working knowledge of purchasing and planning business intelligence software and demonstrated expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays. Pay for this role is weighted on several factors with a base salary of $100,000 to $120,000 with annual bonus potential.
