Assistant Branch Manager Reports to: Branch Manager Must be Bilingual inEnglish and Spanish Purpose:
This position will continually assist WFE in delivering its Service Mission to the customers. By providing high quality service to both internally and to our clients. This position will assist the Branch Manager in guiding the branch office staff by providing quality customer service to applicants, clients and meeting revenue goals or exceeding branch and individual goals.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIECE
- Manage daily operations of branch in the absence of Branch Manager.
- Assist Branch Manager in implementing business development strategies for assigned branch.
- Provide warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere for both employees and customers.
- Provide quality and exceptional service to customers.
- Assist Branch Manager to achieve sales target and projected profit.
- Select, train, supervise and evaluate the branch staff to enhance individual productivity and enable them to function according to job description.
- Assist Branch Manager to operate the branch in line with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the branch personnel comply with federal and state laws.
- Maintain operational standards to provide an excellent working environment for employees.
- Ensure the facility is kept clean, safe and orderly.
- Communicate personally with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Support sales promotion activities including promotional campaigns, micro-marketing events, and trade shows.
- Ensure operational excellence and integrity of the branch.
- Develop action plans to enhance operational controls and optimize customer service.
- Assist in performance appraisals, promotions, and compensation activities for employees.
- Other tasks or projects as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITES
Schedule daily operations: Prepares a schedule of activities in the branch and allots the tasks to different individuals depending on their designation in the organization or a particular department. Assigns targets to sales department, customer service department, revenue department and all other sections of the branch.Customer service:
Communicates with the irate customers and resolves their complaints. In case the sales figures are dropping, or the sales team is not able to communicate with the customers, then the Assistant Branch Manager has to take initiative and guide the sales personnel to handle the customers efficiently and provide them all the information sought.Resolve conflicts:
Assistant Branch Manager looks after the problems faced by the staff and resolves any conflicts that may hamper the functioning of the branch. Communicates with the vendors and other technicians in case there is a problem with the systems and equipment's in the branch.Recruitment:
Communicate with the Human Resource Department regarding requirements of staff for the branch. Participates in the recruitment process and interviews various candidates.Training:
Assist in the training of new staff in the branch. Evaluates the capability of the staff on the basis of their performance and experience and suggests training programs to improve their efficiency.Implement new strategies:
Works with the branch manager to devise strategies for improving the overall performance of the branch. Assisting in the implementation of different strategies and briefs the staff on new policies and practices that need to be adopted for the same. Skills of an Assistant Branch Manager The position of an Assistant Branch Manager comes with a high degree of responsibility. Individuals working in this designation are expected to bring excellent organizational, leadership, problem solving, customer service, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of finance, accounts, consumer behavior and market research along with proficiency in various utility applications such as MS Office Suite, internet, database management systems, etc. is also beneficial.DESIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent to GED.
- Customer Service Experience.
- Possess minimum of three years of related experience to include min of 2-3yrs experience in the industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
