We are looking for a confident, community-minded leader to join our team as the Wiggins Branch Support Manager. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our Wiggins branch, managing daily operations and leading a dedicated team of Customer Service Representatives to provide exceptional, personalized banking experiences. Your Mission Lead the Wiggins branch into the future while honoring its deep community roots. By managing internal operations and developing a high-performing support team, you ensure the branch runs seamlessly. Your leadership empowers the Market President to focus on community growth, while you serve as the steady hand ensuring every customer feels heard and valued. The Day to Day As the primary leader on-site, you oversee everything from staff development to facility security. You spend your time mentoring your team of CSRs, managing cash operations, and ensuring smooth workflows using our Jack Henry system. You act as an ambassador for our digital HPBGO platform and serve as the face of the branch, whether you're coordinating a local event or managing vendor relationships to keep the facility in top shape. What you bring to High Plains Bank Experience and Qualifications Previous banking experience Previous team leadership experience High School Diploma or equivalent Essential Skills and Knowledge Strong interpersonal communication skills Cash handling Operational management skills, including schedule management and working with external vendors A Growth Mindset and the willingness to try new things to move the branch forward Desirable Skills and Knowledge Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance Familiarity with core banking systems (Jack Henry is a plus) Responsibilities of the position Key Accountabilities Lead and develop high-performing and accountable Branch Support Teams. Build strong connections between High Plains Bank employees and customers, and engage with the community. Empower customers through financial mentorship and education. Manage and maintain branch facilities and oversee building security. Safeguard bank and customer security through vigilant transaction monitoring, escalation and risk assessment. Other Responsibilities Manage the branch's daily operations to ensure a seamless customer experience, enabling the Market President to leave the building regularly. Serve as the Security Facilitator for the building, ensuring staff is trained on safety protocols. Oversee building maintenance and coordinate with the facilities manager on capital expenditures. Provide personalized on-site support for technical challenges and escalate fraud or operational issues as necessary. Collaborate with the Market President to identify and participate in community engagement events.
