- Branch Starter is a full-time, field-based role responsible for launching Go-Forth Pest Control's new Florida operation from the ground up.
This individual serves as the founding presence in the Jacksonville market — generating and closing new business through door-to-door prospecting, referrals, and company-generated leads while simultaneously delivering licensed pest control and termite services to a growing customer base. The Home Guardian
- Branch Starter operates with a high degree of autonomy, establishes foundational operational processes, and builds toward future team expansion as the branch scales.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Sales & Service:
Generate new business through door-to-door prospecting, referral cultivation, and conversion of company-provided inbound leads. Conduct home inspections and consultations to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate pest control and termite solutions. Perform pest control and termite treatments, follow-up services, and inspections in accordance with FDACS certification requirements and company service standards. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving service issues, and maintaining ongoing customer relationships.
Branch Development & Growth:
Lead the startup of the Jacksonville branch, establishing operational processes and building sales and service momentum from zero. Track personal performance metrics including sales targets and customer acquisition rates; develop and implement strategies to achieve growth goals. Document and demonstrate best practices in sales, service delivery, and compliance to support future team onboarding and expansion.
Operational Management:
Manage day-to-day branch operations including scheduling, territory management, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of sales and service activities. Maintain inventory levels, equipment, and supplies required to support field operations. Implement and enforce company policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements applicable to pest and termite services in Florida.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain relationships with customers, community partners, and local stakeholders in the Jacksonville market. Represent Go-Forth Pest Control at local industry events, trade shows, and community activities to build brand awareness. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support business growth and operational continuity.
Other Duties:
Operate a company vehicle to travel between customer locations daily, adhering to all traffic laws, Go-Forth vehicle use policies, and applicable state regulations. Identify opportunities to sell additional company services and products. Maintain company equipment and follow all safety protocols for handling chemicals and tools. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required :
Minimum 2 years of experience in pest control and/or termite services, with demonstrated success in sales, service delivery, and customer acquisition. Valid Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) certification(s) in General Household Pest Control and Termite & Other Wood-Destroying Organisms Control — required at time of hire. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a startup or fast-paced field environment. Proficiency with CRM software, sales tools, and Microsoft Office suite. Willingness to travel within the assigned Florida territory as needed. Valid driver's license required. Must maintain a driving record that meets Go-Forth's motor vehicle record (MVR) standards throughout employment. Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle, in accordance with company insurance requirements.
Preferred :
Prior experience in door-to-door or referral-based lead generation within the pest control industry. Experience in a branch launch, territory startup, or market expansion role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to represent the company professionally in community and industry settings.
Physical Demands:
Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and crouching to perform inspections and treatments in residential settings. Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs. Exposure to pesticides and chemicals in accordance with safety protocols and PPE requirements. Additional physical demands as applicable
