Job Description
Stone Warehouse USA is one of the largest suppliers of natural and engineered stone in Florida and Michigan, with multiple locations and continued growth. We are renowned for our high-quality and unique selection of granite, marble, quartzite, and porcelain slabs. We are the exclusive distributor of Quantum Quartz, an engineered stone produced with the finest materials, and Lapitec, a sintered stone made from a matrix of minerals heated to form a solid, impenetrable surface. For over 18 years, we have sourced premium slabs from Italy, Brazil, India, and Asia. In addition to slabs, we offer a wide range of products including tile and backsplash materials to complement both new and existing countertops. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily branch operations, driving sales performance, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the industry, along with proven sales and warehouse management experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily branch operations, including showroom, warehouse, logistics, deliveries, and overall facility management Lead, train, and manage a team of approximately 8 employees, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance Develop and grow branch sales by maintaining existing customer relationships, increasing inside and outside sales, and identifying new business opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with fabricators, contractors, builders, designers, and other customers in the stone and construction industry Manage all sales activities, including lead follow-up, quoting, customer inquiries, account management, and closing new business Identify and pursue new customers and market opportunities to expand the branch's presence and profitability Oversee warehouse operations, inventory levels, receiving, organization, and logistics to ensure product availability and efficient workflow Coordinate with the Purchasing Department regarding material replenishment, special orders, and inventory needs based on branch demand Monitor delivery schedules and routing to ensure timely and accurate service Oversee the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, ensuring accurate invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and financial accuracy Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures Analyze sales, operational, and financial performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement Resolve customer concerns and operational issues in a professional and timely manner Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the stone, countertop, construction materials, or related industry required Proven inside and outside sales experience with a successful track record of growing existing accounts and developing new business Strong knowledge of granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, porcelain, or related building materials preferred Experience managing warehouse operations, inventory, deliveries, and logistics Experience leading and supervising a team of approximately 25 employees Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple departments, including sales, warehouse, purchasing coordination, accounts receivable, and accounts payable Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory, ERP, or CRM systems preferred What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding company Supportive and team-oriented work environment
