Branch Manager TraineeGoolsby Financial CorporationJob Overview Goolsby Financial Corporation is seeking motivated, organized, and career-driven individuals to join our team as a Branch Manager Trainee . This position is designed for individuals seeking long-term growth opportunities within a fast-paced financial services environment. The Branch Manager Trainee will work directly under the supervision of a Regional Manager or Branch Manager to learn daily branch operations, leadership responsibilities, customer service standards, staff coordination, and production management. This role serves as a developmental management position intended to prepare qualified individuals for future leadership and branch management opportunities within the organization. Our company provides financial-focused services including tax preparation, insurance products, and lending solutions to individuals and businesses. Trainees will gain hands-on experience learning office operations, customer service management, production expectations, and administrative procedures related to these service areas. This is a seasonal 6-7 month contract position during our peak operational season, which typically runs from December 1 through May 1 each year. Mandatory training and operational updates are generally conducted from November 15 through December 5 to prepare staff for the upcoming season. Office production, customer satisfaction, service levels, and operational efficiency are heavily reviewed throughout the season to maintain company standards and branch performance expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, leadership potential, professionalism, organizational abilities, and the willingness to learn management operations in a high-volume office environment. Responsibilities Train under the supervision of a Branch Manager or Regional Manager to learn daily branch operations. Assist with managing front desk operations and ensuring customers receive professional and timely service. Learn office production standards, workflow management, and customer retention expectations. Support staff coordination, scheduling, and operational organization throughout the season. Monitor customer service quality and assist with maintaining office performance standards. Handle incoming calls using multi-line phone systems while maintaining proper phone etiquette. Assist customers with general questions regarding company services and appointment scheduling. Learn administrative procedures involving tax preparation, insurance products, and lending services. Maintain organized filing systems, customer records, and accurate data entry practices. Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and office management software. Assist with office inventory management and operational supply organization. Support daily reporting, office tracking, and branch operational reviews. Participate in company training sessions, management development, and operational meetings. Help maintain a clean, organized, and productive office environment. Develop leadership skills necessary for advancement opportunities within the organization. Possible Experience & Qualifications Previous customer service experience preferred. Prior experience in office administration, management training, retail management, banking, tax offices, insurance offices, lending institutions, or call centers is considered a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Basic computer literacy and ability to learn company software systems quickly. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace preferred. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in fast-paced environments. Strong organizational and time management skills. Leadership potential and willingness to accept coaching and management training. Bilingual abilities are considered a plus. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
