Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Branch Manager I is a consultative role that oversees branch operations, coaches and develops staff, manages customer relationships, and supports sales and service objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards. This role partners closely with the branch team to drive performance, support employee development, deliver operational excellence, and provide a positive customer experience. The Branch Manager I is responsible for individual and branch sales goals. Conduct outside sales efforts according to market opportunity to generate new business and consumer clients, while maintaining and expanding existing consumer and business banking relationships. These efforts include performing financial reviews for customers with the intention of deepening relationships. Cultivate client relationships by actively listening and providing financial solutions for client needs including all deposit and credit product and service lines. Build trust and long-term customer relationships. Supervise the day-to-day operational functions of the branch; including but not limited to vault, drawer, and ATM balancing; overseeing teller and customer service duties and assisting with customer transactions as needed. Utilize CRM in a productive and beneficial manner in order to successfully manage customer relationships and interactions. Ability to manage workflows and meet deadlines consistently. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching of branch retail employees; assigning and directing workload; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining branch retail employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure the branch complies with all relevant LSB policies and procedures. Manage complex issues for customers and provide resolution, information and/or additional options. Ensure prompt and proper response to all customer requests. Take consumer loan applications, underwrite consumer loans, work with Central Loan Processing to decision/close consumer loans. Demonstrates openness to coaching and the ability to incorporate feedback for continuous improvement. Adheres to the organization's established standards of professional appearance and behavior. Comply with internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies. Demonstrates openness to coaching and feedback. Represents Lincoln Savings Bank in a professional and positive manner in all duties, including active participation in civic, community, and networking events to foster strong relationships and enhance the Bank's community presence. Position may require occasional company-related travel; a valid driver's license is required.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred. Knowledge of banking policies and compliance regulations required Experience In Management And Coaching Of a Team Required Experience in banking or sales required Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) or ability to obtain Experience In Consumer Lending Preferred Occasionally lift and/or move items over 10 pounds without reasonable accommodation. Remain sedentary (seated) for extended periods of time, with the ability to change position as needed. Proven track record of referring clients to all business lines while meeting or exceeding sales goals. Ability to take initiative and utilize sound judgement in decision-making and higher-level problem-solving. Highly effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
