Job Description

We are recruiting a Branch Manager for a regional bank that has been experiencing steady growth in the Chicago market. Our client is looking to add a branch manager to oversee one of their key branches in South Chicago.
The Position:
The Branch Manager is responsible for directing and administering the operational efforts of the banking center. Ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed. Oversees the delivery of a full range of services to customers and prospective customers. Ensuring that customers are promptly and professionally served. Trains, directs, and supervises lobby and teller staff. Specifically, the position responsibilities include: Managing the daily operations of the branch Providing leadership through effective objective setting and communication Training employees in all phases of their respective jobs; completing orientation of new employees Opening and closing the branch; maintaining security policies and procedures Providing supervisor override when necessary Assisting tellers in locating cash discrepancies Reporting on banking center activities and progress toward established objectives Balancing the vault/branch daily and maintaining cash limits Opening new checking, saving, CD's, IRA's, and HSA's Cross-selling other services such as other deposit accounts, consumer and mortgage loans, IRA's, HSA's, and safe deposit boxes Addressing customer problems and complaints
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and abilities: 3+ years of banking experience 2+ years of leadership experience Associates' or Bachelor's degree preferred Have strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills Must be hard-working, goal-oriented, highly productive Strong analytical skills and the ability to use sound judgment Ability to successfully manage a sales team Good written/verbal communication and organizational skills If you are interested in this opportunity, and you have the experience and meet the job qualifications, please apply using the "Apply" link below.
