Pay Range:
$ 22.50 - $24.00Position Summary:
The Branch Operations Manager Officer is responsible for the day-to-day teller operations of the branch. This position ensures customers are served promptly and the department balances at the end of each business day. The Branch Operations Manager Officer must utilize knowledge and experience in exercising discretion and independent judgment in resolving problems and answering questions as well as coordinate and oversee the implementation of Bank programs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Exercise the usual authority of a leader concerning the implementation of communication of corporate policies, programs and objectives related to the staffing, training, performance, promotions and career development of staff members. The emphasis is to ensure a customer focused staff that is compliant Directly supervise the teller and senior teller staff Complete the scheduling process of tellers Approve teller transactions Open and close of the branch Balance all aspects of the branch such as cash, cash advance, vault, discipline, training & development and motivation of staff Research and resolve teller differences Perform the employee evaluation process for the teller department Perform teller functions when not directly supervising Evaluate and focus on the strengths and weakness of the teller staff and provide ongoing training and coaching Conduct daily/weekly operations meetings with staff Attend regularly scheduled meetings with Branch Sales Coordinator Work with the Branch Sales Coordinator to ensure attainment of the branch sales goals Communicate, support and participate in outboard sales events Provide timely reports and accurate monitoring of relevant data Actively comply with all applicable laws and regulations to include the Bank Secrecy Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, and all other deposit, lending, or non-deposit service regulations; adhering to the Bank's internal policies, procedures, and risk management responsibilities contained in the Employee Handbook, the Employee Code of Conduct, and other applicable policies.Knowledge/Abilities/Experience and Training Required:
High school graduate or equivalent required Previous experience in teller work direction in the teller department and banking experience High level of customer service skills Ability to remain current in product knowledge, Bank promotions, and system operations Must be versatile and possess excellent communication skills to interact with employees and customers Knowledge of all security procedures pertaining to alarm systems, and pertaining to security Thorough knowledge of vault balancing and ATM balancing Ability to inspire confidence, trust and respect Willing to further education in banking A self-motivated, detailed individual with a thorough knowledge of the teller operations and the senior teller operationsPhysical Demands:

Employee in this position frequently communicates with staff and clients and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Employee may need to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
