The primary purpose of the Branch Manager is to direct the operations of a Credit Union branch facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operation, service and growth plans. Primary responsibilities will include:

Oversee daily operations; instill a culture of continuous improvement and proactive process management through coaching, training, development and evaluation of staff. Process and approve loan applications and provide member service, explaining services to potential members to generate new business. Receive and process all member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments. Approve checks for staff. Sell money orders and all promotional items. Balance cash drawer. Balance merchandise reports weekly and cashier reports daily. Monitor branch operating results relative to established objectives and insure that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions. Maintain communications with main office; prepare and submit standard reports; attend scheduled management meetings. Monitor all branch activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures. Act as the Branch Security Officer.

Required Experience and Skills:

Three to five years' experience as Assistant Branch Manager or related banking experience required Must have excellent communication skills Time management and prioritization skills Management, supervisory, or lead experience is a plus
