We are seeking a high-energy Branch Manager to lead, inspire, and grow our Fort Wayne service team. This is a hands-on, "player-coach" role reporting directly to the owner. You won't just be sitting behind a desk; you'll work alongside and mentor crew leaders and technicians installing premium motorized screens, awnings, three-season rooms, and screened porches. Responsibilities:
Lead and Energize:
Foster a culture of teamwork, motivation, and positive employee relations while overseeing daily operations. Coach for

Develop technicians and crew leaders through clear guidance, recognition of excellence, and respectful, timely course correction.
Project Oversight:
Manage end-to-end project coordination, including scheduling, timelines, and ensuring jobs are completed on time and within budget.
Installation & Quality Control:
Perform product installations while reviewing team work to ensure it meets strict project specifications and safety protocols.
Customer Experience:
Act as the face of the branch by communicating professionally with clients, resolving concerns quickly, and ensuring total satisfaction.
Administrative Management:
Review and approve team hours, resolve payroll/clocking issues, and maintain accurate inventory levels for upcoming projects.
Sales Engagement:
Periodically engage in sales by presenting solutions and building relationships with homeowners, builders, and property managers.
Working hours:
7:00 AM - 4:00
PM Skills:
Business Acumen:
Previous experience with P&L (Profit and Loss) responsibility or operational management.
Communication:
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with high-end clients and contractors.
Strategic Growth:
A background in scaling small teams or managing regional satellite locations.
Education:

Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on construction experience (exterior improvements, remodeling, or new construction preferred).
Leadership:
Proven experience managing crews and construction projects from inception to completion.
Technical Savvy:
Proficiency in using email, smartphones, and various technologies to support business operations.
Physical Ability:
Ability to lift 50???75 lbs, work on ladders/at heights, and work in varied weather conditions for extended periods.
Commitment:
Ability to work 12???14 hour days (50???60 hours per week) including evenings and weekends during the peak season (March???November).
