Branch Operations Manager, Exterior Remodeling Fort Wayne, IN | Full-Time | On-site This residential exterior remodeling company serves homeowners in the Fort Wayne area with installation and construction services across patios, porches, decks, windows, siding, screened enclosures, sunrooms, and related outdoor living products. The Branch Operations Manager leads the full scope of branch operations, reporting directly to ownership, and is the senior operational leader on-site responsible for installation teams, project delivery, customer relationships, and branch growth. Schedule Monday through Friday, standard business hours, with flexibility as needed to support field operations and project timelines. The role is fully on-site in Fort Wayne, IN, with regular travel to job sites throughout the service area.
Compensation:
$65,000 - $75,000 Per Year What You'll Do As Branch Operations Manager, you will lead and develop the branch's installation crews, project leads, and field personnel. That includes day-to-day coaching and mentoring on technical skills, productivity, and customer service standards, as well as performance management and personnel matters handled professionally and promptly. Building a team culture grounded in accountability, safety, and quality workmanship is a core part of the role. On the operations side, you will manage daily branch scheduling, labor planning, and project coordination from start to finish. You will oversee manpower, materials, subcontractor activities, and inventory to keep active and upcoming projects on track against timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. Reviewing employee hours, approving time records, and supporting payroll accuracy are also part of your operational responsibilities. You will serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project process, maintaining proactive communication, resolving concerns efficiently, and ensuring the customer experience reflects the company's standards. You will also maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and property managers in the local market. Quality control and job-site safety are ongoing responsibilities. You will conduct site inspections and field reviews to ensure installations meet company standards and manufacturer specifications, and will enforce safety compliance across all crews and projects. The role also includes a business development component. You will support branch growth by participating in estimates and consultations, identifying opportunities to expand the company's service offerings, and representing the company professionally within the Fort Wayne community and local industry. Required Qualifications Prior management experience in exterior remodeling, residential construction, or a closely related trade (decking, windows, siding, patio enclosures, roofing, or similar) Demonstrated ability to lead, schedule, and develop field installation teams Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously Experience serving as a customer-facing point of contact throughout the project lifecycle Familiarity with residential construction methods, materials, and installation practices Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications Experience managing branch or division-level operations in a residential remodeling or specialty building products company Background in estimating, consultative sales, or solution-based selling in a construction or home improvement context Experience coordinating subcontractor relationships and managing materials procurement Familiarity with job-site safety compliance and quality control inspection processes Prior experience in a direct-report-to-owner or senior operational leadership role at a small or growing company Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and company holidays Vehicle allowance or company vehicle To apply, submit your resume along with a brief summary of your experience managing operations in residential construction or exterior remodeling.
