- Supervise and dispatch move teams daily, coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments.
- Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training.
- Help with fleet maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner.
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
- Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs.
- Responsible for being an "on-call" emergency contact outside of normal business hours. What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years of business, management, or other relevant experience is preferred;
TWO MEN AND A
TRUCK or moving industry experience is preferred.- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, motivate, take initiative, develop, and direct people, and be accountable.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, have a clean, valid driver license for more than 3 years, be able to obtain a DOT Med Card and random drug screens.
- Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Strong decision-making ability.
