Your Opportunity The Branch Manager provides professional leadership in all aspects of Branch Management including but not limited to Market Development, Sales Execution, Operational Excellence and the Development and Training of Sales Representatives, Supervisors and General Workers.

MBA preferred. 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership is required Consumer Packaged Goods sales experience preferred

Your Opportunity The Branch Manager provides professional leadership in all aspects of Branch Management including but not limited to Market Development, Sales Execution, Operational Excellence and the Development and Training of Sales Representatives, Supervisors and General Workers.
Core ResponsibilitiesPeople Development
- direct staffing, training and performance evaluations. Establishes sales territories, quotas and goalsDirecting Market Development
- develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate and branch goals. Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules and discount ratesSales Execution
- meets with key clients, assists sales representatives with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals. Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representativesEnsure policy and procedure complianceMonitor and control inventory and revenue managementDirect sales planning and forecasting activitiesOversee budget and cost controls
- participate in budget preparation, ensuring adherence to established budgetsTruck and Facility Management
- ensure the appearance and condition of all company equipment is kept up to company standards and that company equipment assigned is maintained in accordance with company policy and Department of Transportation regulationsRepresents company at trade associationOversee collections of accounts for all salespersons in your areaWork closely with corporate collections to resolve and maintain customer's accountsDevelop strong relationship with key accounts within the regionReport competitive and other food products activities immediatelyExecution of management decisionsDevelop new areas capable to work with wholesale and modern trade environmentAssist other branches as neededOther duties as assigned.

- Direct Retail Sales experience a plus
- DSD experience preferred 5 years prior supervisory experience required
- Route Management experience preferred A valid Driver's License with a good driving record is required, a CDL-B driver's license must be obtained within 90 days of start date; the individual must pass a Department of Transportation (D.
- previous experience with Blacksmith a plus.
